Troubleshooting for iPad users
If you have any problems with ReadingWise in iPad, such as: blank screens, freezing screens, non-playing sounds, error messages - please try the steps below.
- Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on its own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.
- Try clearing the browser cache: Setting > Safari > Clear History and Clear Cookies and Data.
- Ensure you have javascript enabled: Settings > Safari > Javascript = ON.
- Sometimes the device can be restricted by your school admin. In this case you will see a blank page with the approximate message "You cannot browse this page because it is restricted." In this case you need to contact your school IT administrator.
