Job Title: Community Administrator and Trainer
Salary: £24k - £29k depending on experience
Reporting to: Community Manager
Based: UK, remote (at home) but requiring regular travel
Hours: Full time

ReadingWise is a small company committed to reaching and supporting the 20% of the UK population who struggle to learn to read. We’ve developed unique evidence-based reading interventions which delivers a rapid and significant impact on learners’ reading ages. Hundreds of schools use ReadingWise and we’d like you to help us make that thousands.
This role in the company will strengthen our ability to support and grow our school community through:
- Regular communication to offer support and nurture relationships with our community of schools;
- Regular communication to get feedback on the user experience;
- Delivering demos and training over the phone and on site;
- Working with the Community Manager in developing the sales process based on this experience;
- Growing the ReadingWise community through closing sales.

- People learning to read (learners);
- People supporting the learners (teachers and trainers);
- Institutions which support learners with literacy issues (mainly primary and secondary schools);
- People interested in tackling literacy issues;
- The people who work for ReadingWise.
Main Duties
The Role of the Community Support Administrator and Trainer will evolve over time but currently the main duties will be:
- Learning the content of the ReadingWise interventions and the philosophy of the ReadingWise company to enable high quality support to the community;
- Responding to enquiries from the community;
- Regular communication with the community to offer support and get feedback;
- Deliver over the phone and on site training;
- Learn to deliver learner literacy assessments;
- Attend conferences;
- Develop knowledge around literacy issues and literacy practice to be able to communicate confidently with the community;
- Increase the ReadingWise community through developing leads and converting to subscribers through sales;
- General administration.

General information
We will call applicants for an informal conversation and suitable candidates will be asked for a formal interview.
The successful candidate will work from home. The role requires DRB enhanced checking through ReadingWise. The role will require some travel, for example to attend team meetings, to visit schools and other learning insitutions, and to attend conferences.
