Chloe joined the team in May 2023
A love of reading as a child led Chloe to study English Literature at Canterbury Christ Church University. Following this time she worked as a Support Worker in a residential children’s home where she saw firsthand the challenges that looked after children and young people face, which often manifested in a lack of engagement with education.
The systemic challenges unveiled through this role led Chloe to take on a role at NurtureUK, a national charity focused on the wellbeing of pupils in mainstream and SEN settings. In this role she assisted schools with their use of the Boxall Profile Online, a web-based assessment tool for identifying and addressing social emotional and behavioural difficulties in schools. This position further embedded a passion for seeing all children and young people to thrive in education and beyond.
Before joining ReadingWise Chloe worked at Stewardship, a charity supporting 13,000+ churches and charities with their valuable work in the UK and beyond. Chloe believes that every child and young person deserves the opportunity to discover the wonder of reading and getting lost in a good book. As a result, she is delighted to join ReadingWise on their mission to deliver robust solutions which will better equip children, young people, families and wider society for the future.
