ReadingWise for Primary Schools

ReadingWise is an evidence-based online literacy intervention solution for primary schools. Over 300,000 pupils have benefited from ReadingWise to improve their reading. Our programmes are evidenced to increase reading ages by as much as 10 months in a single term. In a robust, government-funded study across 17 primary schools, pupils’ reading improved almost twice as quickly as those in the control group.

10. Tragically, there’s a clear correlation between illiteracy, the ability to find work, and crime. A Ministry of Justice (MoJ) report in 2022 found that “57% of adults in prison in the UK have a reading level below that of an average 11-year-old.”

It’s easy to see how many of life’s rich possibilities are denied to those who struggle to read. We know that without extra support and timely intervention, educational and vocational outcomes for themcan be poor.
