With an engineering masters, A-grade A-level design and a big mouth, Nick's career has played to his ability to understand tech, be creatively aware and ensure a good story is well told.
After an initial period in the pioneer days of laser disc-based interactive learning, he spent many years at the cutting edge of digital media. He founded a number of interactive agencies of his own as well as working in some of the world’s biggest marketing agencies.
His epiphany came with the arrival of his sons, with which came an interest in education - now a passion. Both The Guardian and Wired say Nick is a 'man on a mission.'
Via a TED talk, Sir Ken Robinson told Nick that creativity is now as important as literacy, so Nick promptly co-founded the charity STEAM Co. to power communities to inspire children with creativity and joined ReadingWise to jump-start literacy as Communications Director, talking responsibility for the company’s sales and marketing activity.
