Over the past twenty years, Julia Lynch has worked as a Community Social Worker and Therapist in Canada, Great Britain, and the United States. Julia’s work has always been with young people, of different ages, and often within the field of education. In addition, Julia has worked on a volunteer basis both in Tanzania and Jamaica, providing literacy and community health services to local at-risk communities.
One of Julia’s truest passions is as a global explorer and she has focused a lot of her time abroad learning more about the cultures and ways of life in the developing world. As a result of these experiences Julia founded and works as the Director of the international nonprofit, Global Girl Project (GGP). GGP runs 6-week long leadership exchange programmes in Kathmandu, Nepal for aspiring young women from various developing countries.
Julia also has a passion for health and wellness and expresses this through personal training and teaching Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art, to her local community.
